Brazilian wonderkid Endrick breaks down in tears at Real Madrid unveiling
In an emotional moment that will be etched in the memories of football fans forever, Endrick, the highly-sort-after Brazilian teenager, broke down in tears during his unveiling at Real Madrid on Saturday.
The 18-year-old, who has been hailed as the next football star was overwhelmed with emotion as he donned the iconic white jersey of the Spanish giants.
The Brazilian forward, who will wear the no.16 shirt for the La Liga giants, said it was “a dream” to sign for the club.
Madrid agreed a deal to sign the 18-year-old from Palmeiras in December 2022.
But he could not officially join until July 21, 2024, when he turned 18.
He said: “This is crazy. I am so happy since I was a kid I have always been a Madrid fan and now I am going to play for Madrid.
“I am here, I am going to play, I am so happy, my family are as well.
“I don’t have words to describe what I am feeling. I always wanted to be here. I wanted to play for Madrid. It was a dream. Today it is a reality.”
