Bruno Fernandes celebrated his 250th game for Manchester United with a standout performance, leading the team to a 3-0 win over Leicester City.

In what was Ruud van Nistelrooy’s final match as interim manager, Fernandes opened the scoring, contributed to a second goal (credited as an own goal by Leicester’s Victor Kristiansen), and assisted Alejandro Garnacho for a brilliant third goal.

This victory marks United’s third win in four matches since Erik ten Hag’s departure, giving the club momentum as incoming head coach Ruben Amorim prepares to take the reins.

Expected to arrive on Monday, Amorim’s official start may be delayed for a few days while his visa is processed, and United has yet to confirm his support team, leaving Van Nistelrooy’s future role uncertain.

The home crowd gave a warm send-off to Van Nistelrooy, who leaves with a strong record of three wins and a draw, despite United’s current standing in the bottom half of the Premier League.

Leicester, meanwhile, was left frustrated; they had multiple chances, including a missed opportunity by Wilfred Ndidi, but were unable to capitalize, leading to their heaviest defeat of the season.
