Nengi BBnaija announces arrival of first child

Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija finalist, Nengi Rebecca Hampson, has embraced a new chapter in her life as she welcomes her first child.  

Announcing the joyous news on her Instagram page on March 9, 2025, Nengi shared touching photos and videos to celebrate the special moment.

Overflowing with happiness, the new mother described her baby as the “purest form of love,” expressing deep gratitude and excitement over the arrival of her little one.

“The purest form of love.. I received the most precious gift on 21-02. My greatest blessing, my heart in human form, my purpose. God knew I needed you, my baby. I love you more than words could ever explain, It’s us forever “.

In February 2025, Nengi became a hot topic online after a controversial faceless blog alleged that she was pregnant for a 65-year-old governor with multiple wives, leading many to speculate that it was the Governor of Bayelsa State.

However, Nengi swiftly debunked the rumors, confirming that she was indeed pregnant but not for any governor. She urged the public to respect her privacy and allow her to enjoy her journey into motherhood in peace.

Nengi, who hails from Bayelsa State, rose to prominence in 2020 after competing in Big Brother Naija (Lockdown Season), where she made it to the finals. She became well known for her chemistry with fellow housemate Ozo, and since leaving the show, she has built a successful career as a brand influencer, actress, and entrepreneur.
