Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has predicted that Enyimba is one of the teams to watch out for the new season.

Despite his side defeating Enyimba 1-0 in the friendly match, Ilechukwu praised the Aba-based team for their potential.

Enyimba is no stranger to success, having won the NPFL seven times and the CAF Champions League twice in their history. However, their last league title came in 2015, and they will be hoping to end their six-year drought this season.

Ilechukwu stated that he was impressed with Enyimba’s performance in the game.

“Yemi Olanrewaju delivered a CAFCC ticket to Enyimba last season and would be impressed by what he saw from his boys,” Ilechukwu told Pulse Sports.

“I saw some top-class movement, reactions, and preparation, and I see them doing well in the CAFCC and NPFL.”

It would be recalled that Rangers beat Remo Stars and Enyimba to the NPFL title last season.
