Tinubu names new governing councils for federal colleges of education

President Bola Tinubu has appointed 30 individuals to serve on the governing councils of six federal colleges of education across Nigeria.

The appointments were announced in a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

The new council chairpersons and members are as follows:

– Federal College of Education (Technical), Yauri, Kebbi State:
– Chairman: Ismaila Gadaka
– Members: Abdulhakeem Adegoke, Pam Ishaya, Abubakar Fakai, Zara Usman

– Federal College of Education (Technical), Isu, Ebonyi State:
– Chairman: Mohammed Takori
– Members: Dauda Onipede, Victor Danzaria, Solomon Ayuba, Mario Owumi

– Federal College of Education, Odugbo, Benue State:
– Chairman: Baba Homsuk
– Members: Kayode Ajiboye, Rex Ogbonna, Jude Ngaji, John Viko

– Federal College of Education, Jama’are, Bauchi State:
– Chairwoman: Aisha Tahir
– Members: Dorren Udechukwu, Bar Yaji, Mustapha Shehu, Joshua Adewale

– Federal College of Education, Gidan Madi, Sokoto State:
– Chairman: Abdullahi Adamu
– Members: Olatunji Akinbiyi, Mohammed Malala, Saleh Audu, Lami Oguogho

– Federal College of Education (Technical), Benin City, Edo State:
– Chairman: Tukur Jikamshi
– Members: Abdullahi Loko, Asimiyu Alarape, Abubakar Bello, Christopher Okaeben

President Tinubu expressed confidence that the new appointees will serve with dedication and contribute to enhancing the educational standards of these institutions.
