The Kaduna State Police Command has successfully rescued two kidnapped victims in a swift security operation carried out in the Nariya area of the state.

The operation, which took place in the early hours of Monday, March 10, 2025, was confirmed by security analyst Zagazola Makama in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

According to Makama, the victims, identified as 14-year-old Idris Ahmed and 21-year-old Isah Ahmed, were freed at about 1:25 a.m. after security forces intensified pressure on the kidnappers, forcing them to release their captives.

“The kidnappers, sensing imminent arrest, abandoned their hostages and fled,” Makama wrote, adding that the victims were rescued unharmed.

A police source confirmed the development, stating that security personnel immediately cordoned off the surrounding areas to track down the fleeing suspects.

“We are intensifying efforts to apprehend the kidnappers and ensure the safety of residents,” the officer said.
